I'm posting this in a few different places, just so I can thoroughly annoy as many people as I can.
My kid is turning 16 in a couple weeks (Nov. 5) and here I sit with no job and not much money. She's not all "oh I wanna sweet 16 with 156 people", but I would like to do something neat.
So...
I'm asking YOU, wherever you are, to send her a postcard. From where you are. Don't care what's on it, but keep in mind she's 16 and...well, she is MY kid so she's a little "off". (She went to ThinkGeek and she wants the platinum spork)
If any of you do this, it would be great. Something different, that no one else around gets for their birthday, you know? And it's way cheap.

As my day unfolds I'm trying to determine if I can fit The Dwarf by Pär Lagerkvist onto one side of a postcard if I write really small.
I can write *really* small; but I'm starting to think maybe Animal Farm or Free City or The Painted Bird, perhaps. -
